How to become a FCN Nanny
Our Nanny Requirements.
We're so excited you would like to join the FCN family!
Before you continue to our application form, please review our requirements real quick.
A FCN Nanny:
-is at least 18 years of age
- has 2+ years of *paid* experience working with children
-is legally permitted to work in the US
-is able to pass background checks (social security verification, criminal records, sex offender/global watch list, education verification, driving record)
-has a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
-is able to provide at least 3 references from previous experience with child care
-is fluent in english (written and spoken)
-has a current CPR and first aid certificate before the first day of employment
- able to commit at least 6-12 months to an employment
-located in the Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas area
Not required but extra points:
- bilingual
-Bachelor degree or higher in related field
- specialized in new born care
-plays an instrument

We will invite you to an online interview if we think you will match our criteria. We will go over options with you and find out what kind of position you are seeking. This is also when we will run background checks and contact your references.

Once we have a family that we think you could be a match for, we will be excited to share your resume with them and help you get hired. Don't worry, we will still be there for you every step on the way.
